Senior Experience Designer

• You'll collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams within Fabric and beyond to conceive, describe, and craft useful, usable and delightful digital products and services - ensuring the user experience delivers on the strategic vision and aligns with the project’s technical constraints.
• Through sketching and scamping, you’ll work closely with business analysts to shape solutions and rapidly visualise a proposition.
• You'll be part of a team that creates, presents and pitches ideas to a varied audience, from marketing execs to board members. 
• You'll produce a wide range of user experience deliverables: wireframes, site maps, user flows, journey maps, functional specifications or content matrices 
• You'll keep up to date with developments in the user experience community and broader digital industry.
• And, of course, you will promote Fabric as an expert in the user experience field.

Desired Skills and experience:

• Have a wide breadth and depth of experience in developing digital responses to complex client problems across all digital media.
• Have experience working with board members and in complex multi-stakeholder environments.
• Have experience working as part of a pitch team, crafting creative solutions and selling them to clients.
• Have a willingness to learn from those around you and experience thinking, planning and facilitating on your feet in a workshop situation.
• Be happy to lead and design processes, approaches and techniques for projects.
• Be comfortable rapidly sketching and scamping concepts and prototypes as well as producing formal UX deliverables.
• Experience in user testing and the ability to interpret results and provide recommendations.
• Have experience of the UCD toolkit and design thinking methodologies, how to design and use them and provide and deliver them or manage others.
• Have experience of working on responsive, adaptive and inclusive design principles and up to date knowledge of designing for accessibility.
• It would be nice if you use Sketch, Figma, Miro, but it's the thinking, not the tool, that's vital.
• Mentor others and inspire other team members around Experience Design
• Takes a senior role on the delivery team, works independently and gains competence in new technologies or business domains; 
• Actively promotes and implements the best Agile practices.
